Why does every dress I see have pucking puffy sleeves ?

Just that really .They make everyone look like like gigantic overgrown toddlers.
Please show me a cool sleeved summer dress with no pucking puffs or tiers as I hate them too.

What kind of style are you looking for then? There's lot of sleeveless out there at the moment as well as shirred tops, short sleeves, etc.

The puffy sleeves are great for rectangle and pear body shapes, but if you're an inverted triangle (larger upper half) or have a larger bust they can be harder to pull off. But I do like them and think they look fab on the right person.

Tiered can be flattering. I have one.

Sleeves are hideous on me and really limit my options this season!

Try looking at www.landsend.co.uk. Plenty of cotton, linen & viscous & different sleeves/less.

I hate clothing at the moment, so hard to find anything I like and get decent quality clothing too.

I completely agree @Thisnamewasnttaken123, fashion at the minute is quite rubbish and quality has gone out of the window. I wear what I like rather than stoicly follow fashion but its hard when there is literally nothing you want to wear in the shops.

I ordered two tops from Hush and even though there was no mention of puffs in the description or evident in photos... they arrived with pucking puffs . I like sleeves for modesty as live in Middle East.
I am tall and broad shoulders with boobage with anything puffs makes me look like a cornetto.

I look like the love child of Stretch Armstrong and 1980s Joan Collins in puff sleeved things.

All my go to places are puffing it . Me+Em, hush, Cos, even Netaporter is awash with pucking puffs and tiers.
