a Turn them up (hem on the inside) and sew them but not with a machine, so lose the yellow stitching.

b Roll them up, on the right side .

I don't want to spend a tenner on having them altered but neither do I want to look naff.

What style are the jeans - that might dictate what option is best...?

They are dark wash skinnies but not skin-tight or as tight as jeggings (I am a 10 and my legs are slim.)

You can fold a section and keep the yellow hem. Fold the hem up over the outside so they are about the right length and machine sew or do backstitch all the way round at the top of the bit you want to keep. Then you just have to tack the flap up into the inside of the jeans like you would with taking a normal hem up. Sorry for the lack of diagram but you can probably google it

Have a Google for "European hem" - you could possibly do it with wonder web.

I get you :)

Thanks- it's like a pleat on the reverse side of the 'hem' - I've had a look at some Youtube videso!

I don't see why you need to do anything with skinnies. They should fit any length leg, the material will just 'crunch up' a bit at the bottom of your legs.
