Invisible trainer socks?

That don't fit off your feet when wearing them? Not too thick... can anyone recommend please?

Have u ever tried the pop sock ones from h and m

ChekhovsWorkshoppedShooter · 03/05/2021 10:10

Primark sports trainer liners. They’re made of a sort of mesh and they stay in place really well - saw them recommended on here.

I wouldn’t recommend them for actual sport because they’re so thin, but for wearing with a skirt they’re great (and v cheap of course).

ChekhovsWorkshoppedShooter · 03/05/2021 10:11

These ones

Invisible trainer socks?

Yes to the Primark ones but my big toe goes through them after a few wears

Diggingaholeformyself · 03/05/2021 10:13

I've got those Primark ones and they're ok but I find them a bit slippy in the shoe.

The best ones I've tried are from M&S, they literally cover the sole of the foot, toes and heel. They have a rubbery bit on the heel and they don't budge on me at all.

Girlintheframe · 03/05/2021 10:15

I used to hate trainer socks as my feet are slightly wider than 'normal'
They used to all ping off half way through a day but then I discovered the under armour ones which fit me perfectly. £8/9 for 3 pairs but very good quality and actually fit.

stickygotstuck · 03/05/2021 10:24

In my vast experience, no "invisible socks" work. Because they are not socks. They slip or they don't offer enough coverage and shoes rub at the top back.

The point of socks is to stop trainers rubbing. Any part of the foot in direct contact with the shoe will rub. Only full socks work.

Disclaimer: I am very sensitive when it comes to shoe rub!

DietrichandDiMaggio · 03/05/2021 11:00

Another fan of the Primark ones here. I wear them under trainers almost everyday, but as a previous poster said I don't wear them when running, but just as an everyday sock.

I wear socks so that I don't have bare feet getting sweaty in my trainers, not to prevent rubbing, because my trainers don't rub.

I have these from amazon they have silicone strips on the inside of the heel so they don't fall off, I got a second pack because I loved the first so much. Had bought loads from primark etc over the years but none were quite right until I found these.

mummyh2016 · 03/05/2021 11:48

I've tried loads and the only ones that stay on my feet are from next. Even DH wears them now!

EversoDelighted · 03/05/2021 12:01

I bought some from Amazon last year which were great at first, with the rubber strips, but after a few washes they have stretched a lot and don't stay on any more. I'm going to size down next time I think.

IsadoraQuagmire · 03/05/2021 12:17

Definitely those Primark footies (which I originally read about on here) The only ones I've ever tried that actually stay on my feet, feel completely comfortable, and last ages. Really good value.

Oldraver · 03/05/2021 13:28

I have bamboo ones similar to Toasts

They dont fall off at all

Livingoffroyalities · 03/05/2021 13:54

Best ones I have had were from Nike - they actually stayed on my foot instead of slipping off ten paces down the road.

Fligo · 03/05/2021 15:00

The M&S ones are great, they actually manage to stay put rather than ending up bunched up by your toes.

avocadoontoastwithblackpepper · 03/05/2021 20:29

Brilliant thanks all I'm off shopping!

Another vote for those Primark ones. I have dozens of them! Make sure it's those sports ones though as they do another trainer sock but they're not as good.

saltychoc · 03/05/2021 21:04

Another vote for primark.
It's the only thing I would buy/have bought from there Smile

ThursdayLastWeek · 03/05/2021 21:09

I have M&S ones and they’re appalling. So uncomfortable.

Watchingthetelly · 03/05/2021 21:12

Randomly bought some from Tesco during the first lockdown and they’re the best I’ve used. They’re not cotton though, but I haven’t found them sweaty. My big toe doesn’t even go through them

QueenPaw · 03/05/2021 21:20

I have these which are great

I bought these from Next recently and am very pleasantly surprised with them. They stay up when walking and still fit well, even after washing. Smile

BebeStevens · 04/05/2021 14:12

I bought some directly from Vans that work well with their slip ons. They have the rubber ankle part. Seem OK if a little tight, so might be worth considering depending on your feet.

stimpy1 · 05/05/2021 17:42

I brought some sketchers ones from costco last week, I was sceptical but they are amazing!
