Re-usable pads for 'bladder weakness'*

First the obligatory explanation. Yes, I know incontinence is not inevitable, I know no woman should have to put up with it, I know lots of things can be done to help.
But
Mine is caused by a damaged spinal cord, ain't nothing fixing that.
I use disposable pads every day and really want to try re-usables. Has anyone done this for urine rather than period blood? Can anyone recommend a particular brand?
*Why is it called bladder weakness, why can't they just say mild incontinence?
