Shoes for plantar fasciitis and a summer dress

Asking the earth here. I have, for the first time, bought myself a summer dress - I'm trying to shake up my wardrobe, and have avoided them before due to my chunky legs. I need some summer shoes to go with it, but have terrible plantar fasciitis which rules out a lot, and fairly wide feet and don't do heels. I also need to walk a fair bit in my job.

I've had a quick look at fit flop, but can't decide.

Do you lovely lot have any suggestions that won't break the bank?

Not very helpful perhaps but when my plantar fascitis was at its zenith I just wore my trainers with everything. This was before trainers were in again. It is such a pain but mine did eventually get better.

I tend to prefer Aetrex to Vionic. They just fit my feet better. Neither brand are cheap, but they are well made so I have managed to curate a small collection that meets my needs. I’ve only needed to replace my daily shoes over the years. The more seldom worn pairs are still in rotation.

Fitflop Rally trainers, good for wider feet too

Another Fitflop vote from me. I’ve just ordered a pair of Rally trainers to wear with dresses this summer. I really like that look. I also wear their flip flops and slippers. And wellies. Have also ordered a pair of their slides to wear as summer slippers in the house.

I can wear my Birkenstocks too. They don’t seem to aggravate the PF.

Vionic are also good.
