Logo Identification help needed

I'm not even sure if this is a brand logo or not but my son really likes a hoodie that he's just seen a photo of a famous sports personality wearing. Even though the item looks like a scruffy old rag to me, it's likely to be a very expensive brand. But just in case it's not and is within the budget reach of an 18 year old student, I'd love it if you could help earn me some "awesome mum" points.

Sure can but it's not very distinctive looking sweatshirt. And I've already tried googling "Ben Simmons purple hoodie" and various variations of that...

I wonder if it is Louisiana State University merchandise? That's where Simmons went to college and their colours are purple and yellow.

Thanks for the suggestions/links. None are quite right though (and apparently doing a DIY dip-dye on any old lilac men's hoodie wouldn't be quite the same )
