Best shampoo and conditioner on a budget

I have highlighted shoulder length hair. I'm very lazy about products and use a 2 in 1 shampoo which isn't the best but quick. My hair is very greasy and putting more products on it seems to make it worse. Any recommendations from greasy haired mumsnetters?

Primark do a shampoo and conditioner in silvery purple tubes. I absolutely love it!

I can do my greasy hair every other day when I use Alberto balsam apple shampoo (the greasy one). I use Aussie normal hair once a week or so but the apple stuff is great for every day, for me.
Very rarely condition it but I have fine, undyed hair so it's only split ends that trouble me really.

I have to wash my hair every day as it gets greasy whatever shampoo I use, so this is not a specific greasy hair recommendation. But I love V05 shampoo. It's about £1 a bottle from Wilko or Savers. For conditioner I usually switch between Dove and V05. I use conditioner all through my hair (except the roots), it doesn't make my hair greasy. I also use Vosene shampoo about once a week to remove product build up.

I manage to get 2 days with my hair before it looks horrific and Batiste on the 3rd day but my scalp does itch like mad by the 3rd day.
You're right that there aren't shampoos for greasy hair now.
I've always wondered about this leaving hair for a week and it stops being greasy but never have a week where I'm not doing something that requires my hair to look halfway decent.
Glad there are recommendations for Alberto Balsam as some of their shampoos sound gorgeous.
Thanks for all your suggestions. I shall be off to Bodycare on Monday!

@polkadotpjs

Ooh now head and shoulders I keep meaning to try again. Which one? And I think I also had a good one from France Klorane I think it was. Smelled lush too. I think that you're so right PP about branding now. Like I'd be bothered if it said "for greasy hair" - I actively want something light and cleansing
I use the green apple head &shoulders

Vosene forever 💚

I also like the L’Oréal Dreams shampoo, in the orange bottle. Has a really lovely smell.
