Really need to reevaluate my skincare, so would appreciate some routines from fellow 32 year olds on what you do! In my head I think I'm still 25 Blush Confused

I'm 33 and just started taking better care of my skin but nothing too strenuous.

I use an oil cleanser as my skin is a little dry. Then at night I use hyaluronic acid and a night cream. Currently using the body shop vitamin e cream. Every few nights I use origins drink up intensive night mask.

I wear moisturiser and spf under my make up everyday.

I do an occasional mask when I take a bath.

That's it

I'm 36 but my routine hasn't really changed to be honest!

Am
Boots botanics all bright cleanser
Vitamin c or a hydrating serum or an oil (depending how skin feels)
Moisturiser
SPF

Pm
Eye makeup remover if needed
A balm or oil or gel cleanser
Then
Pm 1 (twice a week) - acid toner, hydrating serum, moisturiser
Pm 2 (5 days a week) - skin and me prescription, moisturiser

Not including products as I'm using stuff up so it's a mix

I’m 31, Clinique cleanser, toner and moisture surge eye cream and face cream every night. Caudilie beauty elixir to set my make up and retinol serum three times a week. Oh and Botox every three months!

I would interested in trying some of the ordinary skin care as I love their foundation but it looks really complicated!

SIHastingsLiketheBattle · 30/04/2021 19:52

@Brieminewine me too I can't work out what I would need to get from the Ordinary!

Thanks all, think I need to find a new moisturiser as currently I just use Anthelios 50 by La Roche Posay, which I think it just categorised as a SPF.

A.M. 3-5 steps
just water to wash or CeraVe hydrating cleanser
Fresh Rose facial spritz (unnecessary but I like it)
Paula's Choice Resist Antioxidant serum
Moisturiser if I feel I need it that day (I really like The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA)
La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 50

P.M. 3 steps
normally an oil or balm cleanse first but I'm using up a micellar water at the moment. It's too drying and takes longer so I'm going to try The Ordinary Squaline cleanser next.
2nd cleanse CeraVe Hydrating cleanser
Followed by either;
Alpha H liquid gold glycolic acid or
La Roche Posay Redermic or
Moisturiser

I'm 32 and have recently invested in the Olay Regenerist range and will never look back. Been using it coming up 3 months and it's made a massive difference already.
I have the face wash, firming serum, eye gel, and day and night creams. I havent had to replace any items yet either and use them morning and night.
They're all 50% off at Super drug too!

Schrutesbeets · 30/04/2021 20:48

Sorry, that meant to say coming up 2* months!

TomatoSoup69 · 30/04/2021 20:57

I'm 32. My skin is sensitive, normalish in terms of oily/dry.

Morning.

  • Wash my face with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser.
  • Tone with Clinique Clarifying lotion 1.0 (alcohol free) if I can be bothered.
  • Apply Avene Toleriane Emulsion moisturiser maybe with a drop of Weleda Almond Oil mixed in if I'm a bit dry.
  • If I'm going out in the sun I'll use Clinique's mineral spf 30.

Evening

If I've been wearing makeup I might take it off with Bioderma micellar water, but usually I only wear tubing mascara, so that comes off with water. Followed by the same CeraVe face wash. Same toner, same moisturiser and oil if needed.

That's it. I have reasonably good skin, and have tried everything because I love skincare and have since I was 18. I'm pregnant right now which has made me change a couple of things - I used to use the Cerave Smoothing cleanser (had salicylic acid in it) but it started making my face bright red so I switched to the even gentler cleanser and added in the toner. I also used to use a retinol every second night - usually A313. I'll go back to using it when I'm not pregnant. I really miss it!

31, I don’t do anything. Is my face going to be awful in a few years?

I just wash it with basic dove soap daily. And put suncream on when sunny.
