Guest at summer wedding - please help!

Going to an informal wedding in the summer. I am a 5 ft 2,. size 14, 60yr old who feels fine in my work clothes and relaxing at a weekend but cannot find anything I like for this wedding. A bit more info...I have grey hair, like simple styles and due to problems with my feet have to wear flats. I want to look stylish but feeling a bit out of date and old.

Have you looked in Cos? Might fit the bill!

Sleeves or not?
I am your agegruop .. and think bold colours work (especially with grey hair..) I would probably wear something like this yellow dress with a simple jacket like this and flat shoes .. maybe even white minimal trainers

Or maybe also something like this monsoon dress

What is your overall shape? Pear, apple, hourglass, triangle etc? What colours suit or don't suit you? Any particular style suit your figure best- Jumpsuit, cocktail length, full length etc?

Hmmmm the jacket seems quite tricky actually! I'm thinking either quite cropped or maybe something softer and very longline, but nothing in between?

This Oliver Bonas dress is viscose, so good if it's hot, and I think it could work for an informal wedding. Nice simple shape and the fabric stops it from being dull.
