Is this hat suitable for a 11 year old?

11 year old really wanted a bucket hat(can't believe they're back in fashion!) Anyway she really wanted one from Romwe, it had a simple smiley face on the front and plain black. It's arrived and on the back has 'Night Call' printed on the back. Am I over thinking or does Night call have a different meaning or am I over thinking and you wouldn't think anything of it.

See pic attached.

sharpie over it in black?? Or unpick it with a stitch ripper?? Dh is a bit anti logos so I often have to unpick embroidered on stuff...it's easy enough and once the thing has been worn a couple of times you'd never know.

Did think about it but wasn't sure how easy it would be. Thanks that's a good idea. Whether or not it's innapropriate, just a wierd thing to put on the back of a sun hat!!

I think you’re overthinking it.

Lots of logos on young people’s clothes seem weird to their parents!

OK thanks. Thought I might have been. I just googled night call(to check) and it came up with something completely innapropriate!!

Buy an embroidered patch ( the type that people used to put on their jeans ) in a size to cover the writing , and cover it
I can see what u mean , it seems a little odd , and if you are not comfortable with it then cover it

I think they mean the songs if you’re buying it from a youth brand like Romwe. Nightcall as a meaning for a sexual encounter is pretty old fashioned.

AlmostSummer21 · 29/04/2021 10:12

Night Call is a non-linear, narrative-driven noire investigation game. ... They share their thoughts, their emotions, their stories… their secrets. To passengers, you are more than just a driver; you are also a friend, a confidant, a shrink

It's a game. You're massively over thinking it.

TenThousandSpoons · 29/04/2021 10:16

I haven’t heard of it as an inappropriate saying - it’s called a booty call isn’t it?!

I’d not worry about it.

I didn't know that.

For an 11-year-old? OP, please don’t. There’s a reason why people “used to” do this.

Could it not just be coloured in with a Sharpie?

OP asked about this in April!
