Clothes for long torsos

Struggling to find basics! 5’7 with a long body. Just want t shirts and vests etc that don’t ride up 🤷‍♀️

Picture of the latest that looked long on the model but in reality is a crop top (with a minuscule head hole!)

I need these ideas too!
M&S vests are long enough, primark basic tops are too, with nice long arms.
I have had tips from French Connection before which were nice and long too.

Seasalt tops are quite long and the sleeves fit me well (5’ 9”) .

They also give detailed dimensions in the descriptions.

They do a tall range but I think that is mostly dresses.

Long Tall Sally occasionally have decent basics, but a lot of their stuff is more miss than hit. I like their long vests and t shirts.

Gap’s tall range. And I have a lovely long t-shirt from Hush from ages ago in the sale.

You need higher waisted bottoms. This will balance you out too. There's no point wearing longer tops with mid rise jeans (for instance) as it will just emphasise that you have a long back and short legs.

Obviously if this doesn't bother you, ignore this Grin

(Can you tell I can never find high enough waisted jeans!)

Was coming on to suggest Gap tall range. M&S used to do good longline, basic tops as well. I haven't looked on there recently though.

I'm only 5'6" but sometimes it feels like most of that is back. 'High waisted' jeans sit at or slightly below my actual waistline.

I tend to wear long vest tops under other tops. These can be in the same colour as whatever I'm wearing on the bottom half so it all blends together, but I'm not so bothered about trying to change the appearance of my proportions as I am about actually covering my midriff so I'm not flashing skin every time I move of reach up for something.

The vests are from matalan and reach my lower hip. However they're starting to wear out (have been going a good five years) and I'm more choosy about where I buy from in terms of sustainability these days so I am planning to give these a go when I need to replace:
