Are Mason & Pearson hair brushes worth the cost?

I have very fine hair & thinking of treating myself to an M&P brush. Are they worth the money? Will it make a difference to my hair? TBH, I generally avoid brushing my hair as it can become fly-away but now wondering if regular daily brushing would actually help with shine, thickening/strengthening of the hair by stimulating the scalp?

I have one but I bought it over 20 years ago and am shocked at how expensive they are now! I love mine!

I wouldn't use anything else! My mum had one in the 70s that I ended up using until I was a teenager- eventually it broke and I used normal hairbrushes for years until I splurged on a MP again about 8 years ago, totally worth it for me

I bought my mum a small one to go in her handbag, it became her favourite brush (she has really fine hair). She thought she'd lost it so wanted to buy herself a replacement, then she saw the prices! She eventually bought herself a cheap equivalent and says it's almost as good. She has also found her original one. I have flyaway hair, which I only brush once or twice a week if I remember, my favorite brush is my tangle teezer (I have an MP but find it makes my hair even more flyaway).
