Work trousers

Hi all, I really could do with some
Work Trousers. I’ve ordered 14 pairs now and returned 14 pairs. I had high hopes for these www.gap.co.uk/gap/skinny-ankle-pants/000130046005.html?ap=7&gclid=CjwKCAjw7J6EBhBDEiwA5UUM2mBXHXJnakHh2FGxKFQo75waONvOn-Q8yUqH89Gq5As32amLx52KJxoC0jwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&kwid=1&tid=gupl000195

However the various sizes, colours and lengths had funny hip spaces (like those funny cartoon jodhpurs) or were weirdly tight on the calves.

I usually wear a skirt to work but I teach primary so
Some days trousers would be a more practical option.
I don’t want to spend mega bucks because I’ll get petit stick, paint or child snot on them but I don’t want cheapo shiny, thin or horrid ones!! Ideas please...

I like H&M for work trousers, especially their slacks at £12.99.

I think I saw these in the shop (though couldn't find on website) but they seemed a bit like pull on trousers with elastic waists. Is that what they are? I'd like trousers that do up if you know what I mean if they exist!

Can't help much as I'm in exactly the same position...why is it so hard! I have one pair of zara slim fitting work trousers that got beautifully but they don't seem to do them any more. Part of me wonders if I should somehow get them copied before they wear out completely!

Similar issue. Was about to give up but just found Boden (have avoided it for years as just too ... meh!). The Richmond black trousers have worked for me and apparently they wash well according to my primary teacher friends.

I had a JohnLewis voucher but I think there are lots of Boden discount codes so no need to pay full price.

Ooh..I like those and they do them in different colours. I usually wear navy for work.

Previously I've been getting mine in M&S.
