A teeny bit tight, or a bit too big?!

I know there are a lot of jeans posts at the moment, so, sorry!

Ordered some ASOS Farleigh jeans, the same size in 'regular' and 'hourglass'. They're not stretchy, they have 1% elastane.

The regular ones are just a teeny bit tight. The hourglass ones are a bit big, they have the waist gap at the back and are a little big in the front where the legs meet the body, if that makes sense.

I was hoping the hourglass ones were going to be perfect, as I usually have the problem of too big on the waist and tight on the hips.

I don't know which ones to keep. I think the regular ones in the next size up would be too big. Maybe the smaller ones will give a bit with wear.

They're the perfect leg shape and length!

@4PawsGood they're not too bad. If I was having a big meal I'd probably have to pop the button open afterwards. And I probably wouldn't wear them on a long car journey!

I'm just too used my my stretchy skinnies I think!

I think they look great on you - not too small.

ok I've ordered 2 pairs in the 32 leg as I'm happy with them not being turned up hopefully they fit at the waist, also ordered a dress, t-shirt and pair of sandals

@imnottoofussed have your jeans arrived yet? I ended up ordering the next size up to compare, they should be here tomorrow

@waitingforsun mine were too small so I've just ordered the next size up as there's 20% off as well. Fingers crossed these fit. I've put on a stone since last year so don't really want to be a size bigger Confused

I'd get slightly big as I don't think it would be as obvious whereas too tight might not look good
