Redness on upper arms

Does anyone know how I can improve the appearance of my upper arms?

I have a big event coming up soon and I hate how pink/red my arms look on the side/back. They're not bumpy, it's completely smooth skin, it's just like that part of my body is a different colour. It makes me so self-conscious.

Any other options than fake tan?!

I would try body scrub or a Korean wash cloth or anything exfoliating for a bit and see what happens

I'd love to know the answer to this as well. If I look at me from behind, my back is a nice olive colour and then the top backs of my arms contrasts so much as they are more red sometimes blueish in tone as well. They look like they belong to a different body! I did wonder if it's some kind of circulation problem? I've only noticed this the last year or so and I now feel like I really don't want to wear sleeveless tops this summer. So depressing. Sad
Like you, the skin is totally smooth as well. I exfoliate all the time, eat fairly well and do a lot of arm exercises but no change.

Thanks - I've done lots of Googling but all the advice is for KP - which I don't seem to have, just a very pink/red skin tone on the back of arms.

Omg! I have this too, I didnt realise it was a thing!
I've tried scrubs, I always moisturise but no change. As you described its smooth skin but different colour.
I think maybe fake tan would be an option but I'm too lazy to go down that road...

It's so annoying @Xztop. We need to collectively find a solution - I'm going to do some research!

I never use fake tan but I might have to for my wedding.

@CornishGem1975 I cant find anything. All I ever see is something called KP but that's bumps. Nothing I can find out about normal skin, just red! So annoying.
