Still not happy with my teeth after braces

I just can't afford any dentist right now mostly because of the pandemic, but i want to know if my orthodoncist did a good job with my teeth or if it's only me and my insegurities. I didn't like them since i got my braces removed (that was like a year ago) and i have to use a retainer with that shape, but i didn't think they would going to work for me because i didn't like the shape they had when he removed my braces, so i don't use them daily.
I don't like the result mostly because of my front teeth, i think they are too forward while my incisors are behind them, and for what i saw on internet the only solution for what i think it's my problem is a palate expander (i think my palate is kind of small than the norma) but my orthodoncist said i don't need it.
What do you think of my teeth?

Your teeth look lovely to me. You have a beautiful smile.

I was also disappointed with invisalign. It can only do so much and cant change the shape of teeth. You might feel happier if you whitened them?

Sorry just realised you had traditional braces. I think you should go back and ask if any further improvement is possible.

You appear to have a slight cross bite and a bit of and overbite. I think a cosmetic dentist could do some bonding and whitening. I am also worrying about what mine will look like once done. I will need bonding

Fixed track braces would have worked much Better to give you the perfect straight smile you want.

Saying that though, I wouldn’t change them. They are straight and nice and are unique not like those awful brig he white identical smiles you see on so many people these days

If you could post a before photo that would be helpful. Without that, any comments are meaningless.

I'd consider bonding to have your front teeth sit a little flusher with the rest if it bothers you but its not something anyone else would notice and I think your teeth are lovely!

They are straight, but you have an overbite. Do your teeth match up when you close your jaw? What were they like before braces?

I think your teeth are lovely and look natural. I can’t see the overbite. Your front two teeth look slightly fan shaped but I don’t know if the braces should have corrected that or if it’s just the shape of your teeth.

Also your teeth are fine- I am going to ber critical as I see every flaw now I am having mine done and not ce teeth!
