Anyone else sick of over-priced "designer" fleece

I get it, the design teams all had to pivot and diversify and the rest due to covid, but honestly, I'm not going to pay hundreds for a fleece jumper and joggers and they are at best SO completely boring as far as clothing goes. Anyone else over it seeing their favourite brands doing this? Or just me?

Where do you shop that a fleece is so expensive? I recently paid £20 for a Regatta fleece.

I guess you could also call it "loungewear" on mn 😁

Hush - dont pay it. Quality no better than regatta

It depends what it is. I'd consider paying the money for a Patagonia one because of their ethics and that they will repair products, I think including fleeces.
For one that's a fancy sounding or 'aspirational' brand that is probably made in the same factories as mid range high street or low range activewear then I'd not pay over the odds.

I paid £60 for an Arket fleece hoody. I know that's expensive but I like it and it's made from recycled plastic bottles (so not even wool 😂)

I was thinking more of designer labels that suddenly have a line of super expensive sweatshirts. Looking for a nice dress or silk top and finding instead a million colours of the same boring sweatshirt that you could find in Gap but with a designer logo on the front

I wouldn’t even pay 1p to wear a fleece Grin
