Daytime foundation recommendation

I'm looking for a lightweight foundation to give some coverage (so more than a tinted moisturiser) but not as heavy as the Charlotte Tilbury I'm currently using. Mature skin quite dry generally clear but a few blemishes/veins/under eye shadows to cover. I'm very conscious of not looking heavily made-up as we go into summer. Budget mid range £20/30 but Will pay a bit more for something great. Any ideas?

Glossier skin tint and stretch concealer are really good.

Wizzbangfizz · 26/04/2021 21:13

MovinOnUp · 26/04/2021 21:15

Dior face and body is brilliant, the coverage is buildable and I think it's a fantastic foundation. It comes in a really diverse range of colours too. Pop in to Boota and ask for a sample. I always get samples for foundation before buying them, it can save you a lot of wasted money.

I am a similar age with similar skin. I use No7 hydraluminous or It Cosmetics CC cream. For the summer I'd use the No7.

No7 Hydroluminous at £15 sounds too good not to try. Thanks all will go to boots tomorrow and find my shade.

I’m mid 50s and use L’Oreal True Match foundation. Cheap as chips, blends well and buildable if needed (I don’t, keep it light).

They used to have one of those colour matching machines at boots no.7 but I've not been colour matched since pre covid.

Op I’ve just purchased hydraluminous and colour matched via findation, would recommend this website to get a suitable match. You enter a couple of previous foundation brands and shades to get a suggested match.

LesLavandes · 27/04/2021 00:01

I like Trinny BFF and it has an SPF of 30 in it

phoebemcpeepee · 27/04/2021 13:50

Colour matching is now being done in boots so foundation purchased thanks everyone Smile
