Any thoughts on Birkenstocks?

I really fancy the Birkenstock Arizona, never had Birkenstock before, are they worth it? True to size? Or any other recommendations? Thanks

I wear Birkenstock's Gizehs every summer but I do find they don't last longer than one year - the cork tends to break up when they get wet, eg when I'm
Emptying the paddling pool etc. But they're so comfy. This year I'm going to try the plastic soles ones.
