Sexy summer perfume

I'm looking for a sexy summer scent. Is there one that you have worn that drives guys wild?
My DH is no help at all with this as he 'doesn't like smells' but I'm hoping to find something to change his mind!

I guess I'm thinking floral, vanilla, etc. Not too heavy and wintery. I'm also not very into aquatic or citrus scents.

To me sexy is always a little musky so I love Tom Ford Neroli Portifino or D&G Light Blue. They are both citrus with a musk dry down and very addictive. Male strangers have asked for a closer sniff which suggests sexy?

Tom Ford is just a brand with a wide range of fragrances, not all alike, so definitely sample some first! I’m not a huge fan to be honest, other than Noir de Noir, but I think that one is closer to £150 and possibly even discontinued, so that’s no help!

Off the top of my head (not too hard to get hold of, summery, in my opinion have a sexy/sensual vibe)...

Dior J’Adore L’Or (jasmine, ylang, vanilla)

Elie Saab EDP (orange blossom, jasmine, honey)

Nuxe Prodigieux (orange blossom, coconut, vanilla)

SOL Cheirosa ’62 (Sol de Janeiro) (vanilla, jasmine, a sweet, creamy, nutty fragrance)

D&G Pour Femme (fluffy raspberry-marshmallow-vanilla)

One of the Lancome Tresor flankers if you like something deep and sweet? Tresor Nuit or Tresor Folie are both vanilla dominant and project very well.

If you want something more niche/unusual, I can give you more ideas!

It’s a body spray but I bought Zesty from Lush online to see what it’s like and it’s fab. Really fresh and well, zesty

Herba Fresca by Guerlain is gorgeous.

I wouldn't say I'm a summer scent person but I REALLY like Coccobello by Heeley. I think it's the kind of thing you'd like - not citrusy or 'fresh', but kind of beachy, tropical, just lovely.

(Can't confirm that it drives men wild, though as the (amazing) perfume writer Luca Turin says: "The question that women casually shopping for perfume ask more than any other is this: "What scent drives men wild?" After years of intense research, we know the definitive answer. It is bacon." So just wear what drives you wild! )

Oh though having said that I do think 'white flower' (tuberose/gardenia/jasmine) scents are really sexy/heady for summer. I have the Estee Lauder Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia which really knocks your socks off!

I use Laura mercier amber and vanille body souffle (it is lotion) it is strong like you’re wearing perfume and lasts all day, and I get constant comments on it. From men and women. I don’t find the perfume smells quite the same. Suspect if you like gourmand scents it might work for you.

I got Narcisco Ambree last summer. Absolutely love it and would seem to tick your criteria. Well worth getting a tester if you can!

DKNY is my fav summer scent, people always comment how fresh it smells - it reminds me of airport duty free shopping

Le Labo Santal 33...my absolute favourite and you can buy it in a small size.

Also really like Aesop Tacit

Carnal flowers and bal d’afrique would be my choice

I find black orchid and santal 33 a bit too ubiquitous tbh

Not sure about summery, but Alien Extraordinaire really gets attention and smells gorgeous.

Just bought the Aqcua di Parma fica. Like Phylosikos but lighter. Very summery and lovely.

I used to get people stopping me when I wore Do Son by Diptyque - that’s a very heady, tuberose-y one and it’s gorgeous.
