Nail Strengthener

Hi everyone

I have bitten my nails for 50 years, and finally managed to stop with the aid of hypnosis (a big unbeliever, so this came as a massive shock), anyway, the nails are growing, and I've been keeping them short in the hope that they'll grow stronger, and are less likely to catch on anything, but they're naturally incredibly weak after all this time, so I'm looking for the best possible product at a reasonable price. Any recommendations please?

I’ve recommended it many times: OPI Nail Envy.
It says you need to apply a coat every other day then remove after a week and start again, but I tend to just put one coat on and don’t bother layering it up, and it’s still amazing.

The best one I've ever used is 75p from Primark. In fact I rate all their nail products very highly.

I have bitten my nails for 40+ years and they’re very weak and soft and brittle. I really think I’ve stopped now, and I put strengthener on all the time. I think the sally hansen nail strengtheners are great.

I recommend opi nail envy too. I actually use it under my base coat every time I paint my nails. It does the job.

You can buy a cheap 3.5ml bottle on ebay if you want to try it.

I very recently bought Sally Hanson 7-in-1 nail treatment as my nails are weak and split a lot and so far it's been good

I was also going to say Sally Hansen it is about £3 great stuff.

I have used it on my nails and surrounding skin for many decades and my nails are strong but supple.
