Trainers help

I’m sorry, I’m sure this question must get asked a lot, but I would like some up to the minute advice please!

I’m looking for some new trainers to wear with jeans and also shorts and dresses when the weather is warmer. Thinking white leather but open to other suggestions. I’m currently 5 months pregnant and have a few Isabella Oliver jersey dresses that looked good in the summer last time round (2018) with white Stan Smiths. They lasted me with constant wearing through pregnancy and mat leave before finally falling apart.

I’ve considered just getting some Stan Smiths again, but are they still in style or are they starting to look a bit dated? (I did love that I fitted into kids ones! Size 5).

Veja seem popular still but they are pricey and didn’t seem very comfy when I tried some on a while back. The more sporty looking Nike styles seem fashionable too but not sure I want a running shoe type look- they seems to suit people who wear plain black and camel a lot and generally look v styled, whereas I go for a mix of colours and patterns so want something to go with lots of different things.

Maybe Adidas Gazelle? I do have a couple of pairs of Vans sk8 hi which I love, but they are too colourful and I want some low tops. Please help me stay current! (Ish- who am I kidding?)

Look up Faguo. Similar to Veja but nicer.

I love Adidas Superstars, they are comfy and classic.

The Faguo ones look interesting- thanks for the rec. Have you tried them - are they comfy/ true to size? Still expensive at full price but there seem to be some offers about.

I do like the look of Superstars but I never got on with them due to the stiff toecap.

Yes sizing is same as Asics and Nike which are the other brands I make, and as other shoes. (You mention Adidas; I haven't worn Adidas for years but they always seemed to come up big, as in I needed a 37 not the usual 38, but that's a long time ago).
