Best ridge filler for nails?

Can anyone recommend a good ridge filler?

I have quite pronounced ridges in my nails (thanks to hypothyroidism - I have a super healthy diet with all the right fats, protein etc so definitely not that). Love wearing nail polish but the effect is often ruined by the appearance of the ridges. I use Essie nail polish & top coat plus a Sally Hansen 7 in 1 nail treatment/base coat. I also use sweet almond oil on my nails during my weekly home mani/pedi.

Not sure if this is good advice for your nails, but I buff mine and sometimes buff down the ridges.

I don't wear nail polish or anything, so don't know about ridge fillers

I’ve just had my nails done, went for simple gel polish but she put a gel base coat on that filled in the ridges before she painted them. They look great.

Just found this too

I can vouch for soontobe60 link I’ve been using it for some time. I do find I always two layers of varnish after though so can’t do quick swipe just for some colour it has to be two layers of colour varnish or not bother

Thank you 😊 Will try both the No7 filler & a gel base coat & see which is more successful.

Thanks again!

Used to love the Seche Vite ridge filler (the one that had a slight gold sheen to it) - but I don't think they do that anymore.

The only thing that works for me is gel.

Ohhhh I have these badly and hashimotos I didn’t realise it was connected
I skin pick too so my hands are a ‘been through the shredder and nails hit with a hammer’ kind of disaster

I use the Sally Hansen Double Duty base/top coat which leaves pleasingly smooth nails.

I have awful ridges and use Diego dalla Palma base coat and ridge filler (from M&S) It's a lovely pinky nude colour to wear alone and really does help as my nails often split down the ridges too.
