Does it work? I've seen mixed reviews. At what stage in your make up do you apply it?

I know someone who has it who was expecting miracles but it wasn’t as good as they hoped and said benefit pore professional was just as good.

Grandadwasthatyou · 23/04/2021 14:51

Oh I currently use Benefit Pore Professional so that's interesting.

Well I spent quite a bit on Trinny products and I am quite frankly underwhelmed.
No difference I could see before and after applying the BFF skin protector cream which was £35.

I'm glad you started this thread because I was considering it as well.

lindyloo57 · 13/05/2021 16:58

I was considering it too, watching too many bloggers who rave about it, well they get it free so if they say it great Trinny will send more things for them to try.

Grandadwasthatyou · 13/05/2021 17:00

My daughter in law applied some of mine to half her face and I couldn't tell which side it was on which says it all really.

Is there another brand that does pretty much the same thing?

Grandadwasthatyou · 13/05/2021 17:04

I also bought lip2cheek which was ok I suppose but not worth £18 in my opinion and some highlighter in candlelight. Wish I hadn't bothered.
Plus with them being in pots ( not the skin protector that's in a tube) if you have slightly longer nails you can't fit your finger in the pot.

@RampantIvy I use a BB cream, a Korean make, the name escapes me for the minute but it was recommended by a user on here.
Now when I wear that people do notice and comment.

@Rampantivy is it the missha perfect cover bb cream? I use this , isn't it good,

HoldontoOneMoreDay · 13/05/2021 17:47

I spent a fortune on Trinny products (drunk lockdown shopping). The BFF cream is great on my skin and I love the BFF serum where I have a bit of redness. Lip to cheeks are nice enough but expensive. Miracle blur I just can't get along with - it sits on the skin and I feel that I can 'see' it. So bit of a mixed bag really.

Ifonlyiweretaller · 13/05/2021 18:03

Not a fan of the miracle blur personally. I find it a really odd, almost waxy texture that doesnt blend well. I do love just a touch though and the BFF serum. The lip to cheek is just too messy - you end up with the product all over your finger so you cant exactly 'top it up' when you're out & about like you can with a lipstick.

Grandadwasthatyou · 13/05/2021 19:35

@RampantIvy .. the Korean one I use is Erborian CC cream. Skin illuminator and perfecter. I like it.

I tried it and found it a bit rubbish to be honest. Definitely no better than the Benefit equivalent and it made no difference to my wrinkles. I was underwhelmed. It also went a very strange texture after only a few uses.

RampantIvy · 13/05/2021 21:49

Thank you for the recommendations. I will wait until the world opens up a bit before I splash out. You can hardle see my face under my mask and glasses right now.
