Help! Elemis total glow discontinued?

Hi all,

I have used Elemis total glow bronzing moisturiser for a while now on my face, few times a week it is fab to give a subtle tan.

I can't get it anywhere at the mo?

Does anyone know if it has been discontinued? And if so any other recommendations to use instead of it?

I've just gone to order some and seen it was discontinued! Gutted I loved it. Would also appreciate any tips about what to try now.

A friend recommended clarins tanning drops and using them with my normal moisturiser. I'm so pale that I'm apprehensive to use anything new.

I used this too. It was really lovely. I contacted Elemis as I couldn’t get it and it’s been discontinued 😞

Elemis suggested using their Tan Accelerator but it’s nothing like the Total Glow.

I've been adding body shop tanning drops into my moisturiser for the past few days and it's made very little difference. Will try the clarins drops next! What a faff.

Thanks @Notthisnotthat and @bevwp68 I really can't understand why they would stop such a fab product.

I have started using Dior self tanning, I think I got it on offer in Boots. It isn't the same and I would say that you don't need to use much - but I am happy with the colour.

I feel your pain OP, so many products I have loved over the years have been discontinued, or sometimes 'reformulated' which basically turned them to shite.

I used to love Lancome Flash Bronzer mousse, was one of their best sellers - then it was just gone. Also Clarins Liquid Bronze the really runny tinted liquid one that was so good, that's gone as well .

I don't know why companies do this, most of the products were selling well.
Considering how much it presumably costs to develop and market a new product, why would you take one off the market that already has a customer base and people wanting to give you their money .

I feel like they are under pressure to constantly come up with new product ranges, and so have to rotate out older ones, but it's always the ones I love.

I feel like asking them to send me all the leftover stock they have!

Maybe I’ll give the Dior a try. Thank you.
