There’s no hope is there? Sitting in the hairdressers currently looking at myself in the mirror while my colour takes. Two purple horseshoes peeking over my mask.

I have the exact same problem. Mine seem to be because the skin seems really thin and they are quite sunken which makes them dark. I’m searching for a miracle product but long time I think fillers are the best way of getting rid

*Long term not time
I’m currently using beauty pies anti retinol eye cream in the hopes it will work. Bit too soon to say just yet

I got addicted to watching vogue beauty secrets videos a few weeks ago and this one might be helpful- I've used shape tape concealer myself and it's good- you can buy it from QVC

Squiz81 · 22/04/2021 17:28

I’ve ordered the CeraVe dark circles cream (on offer at Superdrug at the moment) I’m hoping for miracles.

BP's eye retinol cream has helped mine. Their genius underage concealer is good too.

pommedeterre · 22/04/2021 17:44

undereye not underage!!

ElderMillennial · 22/04/2021 21:59

You probably need a corrector rather than a concealer. There are threads on this every week so plenty of recommendations but Bobbi Brown is a safe bet.

Gwenhwyfar · 23/04/2021 17:34

Shape Tape's only good if you're young and don't have dry skin. For me it just sits in the wrinkles. I tried their new creamy concealer, but it gives no coverage.
The threads on here aren't necessarily for people with real dark circles so I wouldn't pay that much attention to them.

Strange comment. How could you possibly know how OP's dark circles compare to those of others who have posted?? I think I have "real" dark circles and I have posted on other threads and found them helpful. Not many suggestions on here so OP may find suggestions on the other threads.

I think most concealers don't sit well in fine lines / wrinkles but the way you apply can make a difference.

I think OP probably does, but I was talking about random posters on threads about dark circles. I can tell they don't have them by their recommendations for things that wouldn't work for people who actually do have dark circles.

Fillers are the only answer

sunshineandshowers21 · 23/04/2021 19:18

i’ve recently started using a pot concealer from primark and it honestly works miracles. it covers my dark circles completely, all for the bargain price of £2.50. my grandma (in her sixties) has also started using it on her very dark under eyes and age spots and it works amazingly for her too. i’ve also found that the superdrug’s own naturally radiant eye cream really helps with puffy eyes.

fluffiphlox · 23/04/2021 21:47

Thank you. I’m ancient and I have real dark circles I can assure you. Smile

I think fake dark circles are a tiktok trend at the moment. Meaning I am extremely down with the kids!
