Where to buy a good quality hoodie?

As the title says, please can anyone recommend where to buy a good quality hoodie?
Preferably an over the head design rather than a zip up.
I've tried a few but they seem to be poor quality, an unflattering fit and don't wash well or last. Thanks

Sexnotgender · 21/04/2021 21:54

FoggyDay58 · 21/04/2021 21:55

Colourful standard, hari and the gang, arket?

Mincepiesallyearround · 21/04/2021 21:57

I’ve just ordered one from weird fish. It looks really nice but hasn’t arrived yet. There’s a discount code online if you Google.

I bought a lovely one from Elsies Attic. Really good quality material and the fit is fantastic.

glasshalfsomething · 21/04/2021 22:12

Jack Wills.

Land’s End.

LaurieFairyCake · 21/04/2021 22:18

Baukjen are so lovely, so soft - and organic cotton

oigetoffmycheese · 21/04/2021 22:27

I have several of the hoodies from here. Some printed and some plain. A bit more than high st but fantastic quality and wash really well.

It's like putting on a hug.

Small independent company too.

Sexnotgender · 21/04/2021 22:28

Steer clear of Om & Ah, really poor quality for the price.

SarahBellam · 21/04/2021 22:29

My DD has a few Jack Wills and they’ve lasted a good two years with frequent wear.

steppemum · 21/04/2021 22:30

depends on what you want really.
I like a baggy hoodie, oversized. Others prefer a more fitted look.

I went on to ebay and bought fruit of the loom. Lovely cotton, fluffy inside, good choice of colours, but I bought the baggy mens one

coronafiona · 21/04/2021 23:11

Surfanic are good Q for coats and do nice hoodies might be worth a try

Shufflebumnessie · 22/04/2021 19:04

Thanks for all the suggestions. Lots of places I've not hear of, and others I'd forgotten about.

Patagonia. Not cheap but looks as good as the day I bought it a year ago. And I’ve worn it A LOT in lockdown.

I second this!
LavendulaAngustifolia · 22/04/2021 23:45

Fire clothing is the wholesaler for the Hari and the Gang cowl neck hoodies so you can get the same hoodie for half the price and without the happy rainbows all over the front.

AC12reject · 23/04/2021 00:30

Super dry last well and wash beautifully but they run small so make sure you get the fit right.
I've been sporting a Nike one for 17 years... It is a mens hoodie, plain with a wee swish. It has another 17 years in it

Iamthewombat · 23/04/2021 00:35

I just got one from Community Clothing (recommended here). It is fab. Lovely thick cotton jersey.

goteam · 23/04/2021 06:57

Agree re Community Clothing. Really warm and brilliant quality

Monkeytapper · 23/04/2021 07:03

I bought a 2nd hand Tommy Hilfiger hoodie from eBay, feels so soft and really good quality and washes well.

missmoon · 23/04/2021 08:41

Second Patagonia, excellent quality, and big on sustainability (including paying fair wages).
