I see from here the foreo bear www.lookfantastic.com/foreo-bear-app-connected-microcurrent-facial-device-fuchsia/12578821.html

Gets very good reviews .

It’s very expensive and I wondered if the mini was any good and what the differences were . www.lookfantastic.com/foreo-bear-mini-app-connected-microcurrent-facial-device-various-shades/12919592.html

I mainly want it for my jowls .

Thanks

I have the full size, the mini came across as bad value for money in my mind, it's less powerful meant for targeted areas only and is much smaller so you have shorter programs that you have to use longer and cover more area with a smaller device which in my case would probably mean I'd probably abandon it at some point in account of too much hassle where the full size is designed for purpose and does feel quick and easy to use.

I have the full size and really happy with it. After 2 weeks I can see a difference.

Do you use it for jowls ?

Yes. Has sorted my droopy eye as well. Jowls I think slightly improved but I've only had it 2 weeks.

Campervan69 · 21/04/2021 18:37

Just taken this photo of my jowls. Lines deffo ironed out I think. Skin is makeup free, just had bath and moisturised hence v shiny.

Your chin looks firm . We’re you more jowly before ?

This was taken 2 weeks ago when I started. All my skin feels tighter somehow. I wasn't massively jowly but deffo have potential to be. Had deeper lines. Looked more tired.

I got 20% off with a code from Look Fantastic. And I thought that's one round of botox which only lasts 3 months so.....

procrastinationexpert · 21/04/2021 20:17

I can see a difference as well! I've just got one second had so I hope it'll work out - not going to post any photos as I have a birthmark that would out me!

Did you use the serum that came with it or what else could you use?

Campervan69 · 21/04/2021 20:33

I've just used a tube of aloe Vera gel that I found in the bathroom cupboard. And watched a few YouTube videos where it says its important that your skin is really wet. So I'm having a nightly bath after work, hot cloth cleansing then soaking my face with water and liberally sploshing on the gel. Then I do a 3 min cycle on one side, then the same on the other. It beeps and switches off when finished.

procrastinationexpert · 21/04/2021 21:54

Thanks @Campervan69 I'll get some of that!

Did you get the LED light attachment as well?

Campervan69 · 21/04/2021 21:58

No. Don't tell me that.... what does that do? I seriously need to avoid this forum, my credit card is exhausted 😄

Ah will check that out, when they next send a code. Trouble with LF as often there are loads of brands excluded and I’m sure they sometimes exclude foreo.

I bought a foreo bear recently, after reading this forum. I really like it. I feel like my skin looks better and tighter.

@Campervan69 could you recommend any videos? I still feel a bit unsure about how I could use it in different areas. Is there a limit on how long I should use it in a particular area? I tend to do 5 sweeps.

I really want to sort out my lip lines and do something about my hooded eyes, neither of which I am sure how to tackle with it.

Apileofballyhoo · 23/04/2021 08:20

There are some videos on the fantastic skincare thread, quitegood.

Campervan69 · 23/04/2021 17:46
does this link work? I thought this was a useful video.

I am off out tonight with the girls and my make up has gone on so easily. My face looks so balanced and clear. Best thing I've ever bought.

HemanOrSheRa · 23/04/2021 18:13

Pish. I knew I shouldn't have opened this thread. I really want to try the foreo bear for my sagging face. You look amazing Campervan69. I can definitely see a difference.

This tutorial looks good. There is a time stamp on it so you can jump to the sections you want.

QuiteGood · 24/04/2021 10:00

Thanks for these. I am loving my foreo bear, even though am still getting to grips with it.

MoriaRoseForever · 24/04/2021 14:37

Oh I do need one I think.

I've just ordered my bear after reading these comments. I really hope it works as I feel guilty for spending money I can't really afford 😳. I'm 52, I have deep wrinkles from nose to mouth and started to get jowly. I have been using tret from Dermatica for 6 weeks. I'm getting desperate as have noticed a definite decline in my skin in the last 12 months.

Rupertpenrysmistress · 11/05/2021 12:26

I want one of these too but can't yet justify the money. My skin has improved recently due to better skin care but, I hate my jowls. I think I need a but more convincing.

MoriaRoseForever · 11/05/2021 12:36

There was 20% off on Look Fantastic, so ordered.
They do these offers pretty regularly. Justified that this will "save" me money as won't go for treatments, though don't anyway ! Plus cheaper than botox or fillers !

Just ordered one too 🤩. Got it for £236 on current body, due tomorrow can't wait.

Rupertpenrysmistress · 11/05/2021 15:03

I have considered Botox as my dental clinic offers it but, really don't want to. Just want to tighten up the dreaded jowls.
