How to get beach waves

I an crap at styling hair. For some reason I can't post a pic, but it is above shoulder length and poker straight.
I can do 1 side with straighteners but can't do the right! I've watched tutorials and still can't do it.
Is there something easier than straighteners?

A 3 barrel curling is what you want Smile

3 barrel curling iron that should say!

I have just got one from Boots - Mark hill one that you can get different attachments - I have the small and large 3 prong things

My hair has to be fully dry and I use heat protector but then it takes me no time at all to get decent waves

You can use the Dyson air wrap sort of the opposite way to usual to get beach waves

I'm hoping to get an Dyson Airwrap soon (just need to re mortgage the house first!) and it does look very good for creating beach waves, from the tutorials I've seen.

Not feeling like feeding James Dyson's coffers!!!

Put your hair in two loose plaits after you've washed it.

I'm super lazy and find that this gives my shoulder length hair nice waves.

Straighteners give me lovely beach waves. Use them like you would to curl but don't go straight to the end of your hair, stop about an inch before the end. Loosen them up with a wide tooth comb and then slightly back comb them with the wide tooth comb

I got a cheap 3-barrell wand from Amazon for about £25 and it's AMAZING. Takes 10 minutes to do my whole head and it stays wavy for two days and even still has some wave on the third. Sooooo much better than straightner curls or a curling wand.

this is the Boots one

and this is the handle they are 3 for 2 still so you can get another attachment (I got the small version of the 3 prong thing)
