I need a new powder.

Normally go for Laura Mercier. Just wondered if anyone had any other recommendations, maybe a cheaper alternative.

Pressed or loose? I like Fenty loose powder and Mac Blot or No7 pressed powders. No7 is fairly cheap and the others are a bit cheaper than LM.

ByTerry is my favourite

I usually use Clinique loose powder, but I tried the Rimmel version during first lockdown. I was very pleased - it doesn’t have the fancy packaging or little brush - but was a very good alternative.

The Maybelline fitMe ones are good. The pressed one is in Superdrug, loose one you can only get on Amazon (maybe other places now but not sold in drugstores). I prefer the loose one just annoying you can't get it as easily.

Beauty Pie One Powder Wonder is truly magic. Also like Charlotte Tilbury

CandleWick4 · 20/04/2021 17:41

Charlotte Tilbury flawless finish powder is great. It’s pricey but it’s got a way of blurring the skin and setting concealer that I haven’t been able to find in any other powder.
The Fenty loose powder is nice but very fragrant

Belindabelle · 20/04/2021 17:47

Oh yes maybe the Charlotte Tilbury. I normally go for loose but pressed comes in handy for out and about. Now we can actually go out and about again.

I really like the Rimmel pressed one.

Huda beauty - pound cake loose powder is amazing!

Is CT any different in price to LM? I would have thought they were around the same price point
