Next jogger/ harems are crap this year. Alternative?

Has anyone else who usually lives in these drapey jersey trousers from next in Summer found them to be pretty hideous this year? I ordered loads of patterns and they were all far thinner fabric and cut differently (I checked against last years to reassure myself it wasn’t just my lockdown flab).
Anyone found any good ones that are nice and lose on the thigh, gently tapered at the ankle, comfy, wash well, etc etc (holy grail)?
Preferably in nice heavyish yet not too hot jersey? (Viscose/ bamboo blends maybe).
Tried matalan (again fabric really thin)
Hush are ok but £££ and I’d like to buy several pairs in different patterns.

Would advise you not to give up and go for the Hush ones... they're half the thickness they used to be (mine are see through enough that i wouldn't wear them in public) and I've not even washed them yet and they've bobbled and look like a dishcloth. Really cross about it, there's no indication on the website that they're any different!

The ebay ones are good.

Another vote not to bother with the Hush ones, they have ruined them and they are not remotely worth the price.

Will watch this thread in the hope of an alternative.

Don’t laugh but I’ve had two really nice pairs from M&S, I’m wearing some right now. I’m recovering from an operation and needed some comfy trousers and these are perfect. I will be living in them this summer.

I bought some khaki ones from Sainsburys but again thin material, so I’m also interested in what people suggest.

Another vote for M&S. The only ones I've found worth higher prices are Seasalt.

Agree with M&S, decent quality for the price and the different lengths are great
