No but interested in reading the replies you get. I can't work out the difference between 8 and 3. I can see the words on the labels are different I just want someone to explain why I need both. Even softer hair??

Yes I purchased it on Friday! I was so excited for this as I needed a deep conditioner/mask sort of product.

So far I’m enjoying it. My damaged hair is incredibly soft and silky - normally only my hair dresser can get my hair to feel like this with a proper blow dry

Olaplex 3 isn’t a conditioner. It repairs the bonds in your hair. It’s a long term commitment to see healthier hair

Olaplex 8 is essentially a conditioning hair mask. You’ll see immediately more healthy hair. Of course hair masks are everywhere, so this might not be a must have for you, but it’s very good at what it does

mooonstone · 20/04/2021 17:18

You know how people wrongly assume that Olaplex will give them immediately perfect, shiny, soft, healthy hair and are disappointed when it doesn’t? Well Olaplex 8 is the product they thought 3 was

@FreshFaceTime
Well it’s says you can use 3 and 0 together with it 😂

I think 3 is more of a maintenance thing and is building up your hair gradually, but it says this is a 4 in 1 conditioner/bond builder and a few other things.

I’m a big fan of Olapex in general, so I’d be keen to try it!

But when I use 3 my hair feels amazing instantly...

Uptoongirl · 20/04/2021 18:40

It's on my list to get when I run down my supply of hair products as I generally like Olaplex...however I've recently realised the oil (no7 I think) gives me neck spots so I'm not sure if I should give up on Olaplex as a whole or just assume it's only the oil that's the problem.

3 is a top up for use once or twice weekly after 0 which is intensive. Both are silicone free. The shampoo and conditioner are silicone free. 5 and upwards all contain cones.
