So big 40 this year and am noticing some uneven skin tones although I also do suffer from Malasma in patches on my face. Eye contour is holding out good so far. Although the area below my eyebrows is a little more saggy than I'd like.
This is my current skincare routine:
Am - Elemis sensitive face wash, Clinique all about eyes and Charlotte tilbury magic face cream.
Pm - either Elemis face wash again or if I've worn make up I will use a foaming cleanser and my electric cleansing device. Followed by Charlotte tilbury magic eye cream and Elemis pro collagen night cream.
I am not convinced for the price the Elemis pro collagen is having a massive impact ( ring using since Xmas) and the Charlotte tilbury eye cream isn't either to be honest. Although to be honest I don't dislike them. I do love Charlotte magic face cream though as it creates a dewy look and is a great base for make up. I am also a bit on the fence with the Clinique eye cream as previously I Was using the olay ultimate eye cream which is half the price but I feel very similar.
Just wondering if I'm missing maybe some serums. I did use a retinal serum last year but again not sure if it really made a huge difference. I am thinking of adding in the naicinamide and buffet serums from the ordinary but not sure if they are worth it.
What are your go to daily skincare products for those of you late 30's early 40's?
