back of head 'cowlick'?

I have a rather prominent cowlick (I think it's called?) on the back of my head where it looks like my middle parting keeps going downwards and doesn't know where to stop! It really shows and my hair parts quite alarmingly to one side and feels thin right on my crown there.

It seems to have gotten worse with age - is there any product that can make it look better/make the hair there grow thicker?

I also only air-dry my hair - is blow drying the hair there so that it hangs together more the only way to go? It's really getting me down and making me so self-conscious! Sad

Is that called a double crown? I have that, so does my daughter but I’ve found a shorter hairstyle works best.

Products: anything that gives the appearance of thicker hair to give more texture so; sea salt spray (when wet), dry shampoo, hair volume powder (comes in a small bottle and is literally a white powder, only need a tiny bit but it’s awesome stuff!

I’d always say yes to blow drying because it gives the lift at the roots that fine hair needs. If it air drys it will just dry limp.

I just googled it - yes a double crown is what I mean. Though I think mine is single. It's horrible, I hate it! My hair is very fine and frizzy so I can't use salt sprays, which only make it more frizzy and dry, so I will look up a hair volume powder, hopefully I can find one in a dark colour, don't want to look like I have dandruff on top of everything else! Why do we get these? Why doesn't my sodding hair know what to do!? Arghh!

Get a Babyliss Big Hair. It's brilliant. It'll give you some volume and a lovely smooth finish.
