Is sunny but still cold. Are boot still appropriate? I am not from the UK but I always find difficult to organice clothes in this "mid weather".

Anything but sandals, because it's not warm enough for those yet imo! Boots are appropriate for most of the year, depending on the boots (not furry ones!).

Fispi · 18/04/2021 16:53

I wear my ankle boots till its warm enough for sandles. I do have Van's but they make me feel so 'mumsy' I wear my boots most of the time.

Iseeyoulookingatme · 18/04/2021 17:13

I've just had a pair of converse so will be wearing those till it's sandal weather. Maybe a similar pair of pumps would be a good idea. Boots are too warm now.

PollyIndia · 18/04/2021 17:15

I seem to be wearing black converse all the time
Probably going to wheel out my Birkenstock’s with socks too.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 18/04/2021 17:16

Trainers/plimsolls
Tom's

Charley50 · 18/04/2021 17:18

I just wear trainers all the time. With longer skirts or dresses, or with any type of trousers.

BrilliantBetty · 18/04/2021 17:21

Converse. I did try some sandals this morning, but thought better of it as I was halfway down the front garden path.

Shelovesamystery · 18/04/2021 17:22

Trainers or loafers. Too warm for boots but too cold for sandals imo. I've put all my boots away now for the season so I'm hoping we won't get any really cold spells in the next few weeks as it's a pita to get them back out again Grin

LadyAgripina · 18/04/2021 17:38

What about more formal contexts? I am using sneakers to work right now but I will have some meetings this week. I hate ankle boots with dresses because my ankles are thick and also I am overweight Confused

I’m wearing trainers or loafers.

A loader or a brogue? Depends where you work. I can wear trainers at my work.

JackieeWeaver · 18/04/2021 18:30

I've found some wide fit converse hi tops and they've become my spring footwear of choice Smile

SeaTurtles92 · 18/04/2021 19:01

Vans.

BagLadyy · 18/04/2021 19:02

Converse or Air Force Ones

Currently no need for anything smart.

notthemum · 18/04/2021 19:19

I really like those, but i definitely look upon them as sandals. Also think if you have thick ankles the buckle being where it is will not do you any favours. Sorry.

FindingMeno · 18/04/2021 19:21

As soon as I won't get frostbite, it's warm enough for sandals.

LavendulaAngustifolia · 18/04/2021 19:22

Docs or trainers.

LampLighterInn · 18/04/2021 21:27

I'm still in my DM's

LadyAgripina · 19/04/2021 14:21

@notthemum I know! But i planned to use them with trousers, and imagine the buckle function is to keep the "structure" in place Grin

I wear leather slip-on pumps. They go with everything.
