Less popular, decent brands not sold on mass?

Do you have any favorite brands that haven't been been taken over or pushed by a big retail chain? I used to be a fan of Jaeger and Ghost but havent bought from them for a bit and now don't want to since they are being sold on mass in Marks. Who wants to look like everyone else? I also think the quality will decline.

Any recommendations for smaller and better quality brands appreciated!

Have you tried Me+Em? Or John Lewis own ranges have some good quality pieces - Kin or And/Or.
Or going to a local boutique with more unusual brands?

Weekend MaxMara might be a good fit for you OP. Similar aesthetic and price-point.

I know it’s not pedants corner but it’s en masse not on mass.
Baukjen or look at John Lewis. They’re introducing a few new brands this spring.

Sezane, essential Antwerp, Rixo, rouge are all brands i love that you don’t see everyone in

I like Mango.
Hardly ever see anyone else wearing Mango, even though it's a well known shop it isn't everywhere.

I bought some lovely stuff in the sales, and whilst some of it has a higher end designer price tag there are brands like Sugarhill Brighton (who I love!) that are reasonably priced and great quality with an eco-friendly slant.

I saw this brand recommended on another thread - I’ve never purchased from them but I thought the price point was really good. They have a colour block trench coat I’ve seen on SM so maybe I’m the last to know about them.
