Does the Philip Kingsley elasticiser repair hair?

My hair is very weak according to the lady who cut my hair this week. It's shoulder length, fine and wavy (with some coils) and never seen colour or a hairdryer and its always conditioned. I'm 46 so hormones are probably not helping either.

If I spend £££ on a fancy deep conditioner do they actually work?

I get a simple trim a 3/4 times a year but no other cut works as the wavy bits have a mind of their own.

What do you mean by repair?

Protein will help weak hair but you can't mend actual damage that has already occurred such as split ends

Make it look less straggly I guess. More body.
I don't really get split ends.

Well yes it may help with the condition generally and how it looks.

Try the new Olaplex 8, I tried it for the 1st time yesterday. Very impressed much better than elasticizer. It is brilliant for dry hair but not sure if it helps with body as I don't have that issue.

Yeah it's olaplex that you need.
