I don't even know if I have it, but it sound like I might. Do any of you know much about it and do you use anything at home to massage?

I suspect l might have it. I am extremely bottom heavy.

There is a website. I thought liposuction was the only effective treatment.

I go to remedial massage for back pain. My massage therapist is also qualified in manual lymphatic drainage for cancer patients. Might be worth seeing if there's someone qualified near you.

I have it. I had surgery in Germany.

There is a facebook group called Global Lipoedema Awareness that is brilliant - it is geared towards those who want surgery.

I have a leg massager thing I got on Amazon that I rate. Officially it doesn't meet the gold standard of leg massagers but I have been happy with it. This what it says on Amazon:

RENPHO Leg Massager for Circulation and Relaxation, Calf Feet Thigh Massage, Sequential Wraps Device with 6 Modes 4 Intensities, Helps to Relax Legs, Gifts for Women Men Mom Dad

I had MLD after my surgery and I was really happy with it. I didn't have it before surgery though, it is known as a conservative way to manage the condition. I don't have it any more, I just use my leg massager.
