Good cleanser that doesn’t need washing off?

Looking for some advice from the wise skincare experts on this board pretty please!
My skin has never been great (spots), I started using skin & me 2 months ago to try and sort it. I can’t say I’ve seen a huge difference although possibly feels a bit smoother. Anyway, will continue for longer as I know it can take a while.
I like to cleanse using a fluid I can wipe on with cotton wool pads - have been using micellar water but have seen on a few threads that this isn’t hugely effective. I’m hardly ever wearing make-up these days so that isn’t an issue.
Just wondering if there are any nice cleansers people would recommend that aren’t face-wash style ones, for some reason I don’t love the act of ‘washing’ my face at night - possibly due to pure laziness but I do think it wakes me up a bit which I don’t really want.
Any ideas? Happy to spend a reasonable amount if needed - thank you!

Cleansers need taking off properly. You definitely need a warm flannel minimum.

I do my routine basically when I've finished work as it feels nice to sort of wash the day off
Balm over face massaged in, warm flannel then anything else I use
In the morning I use boots botanics all bright cleansing lotion on a reusable cotton pad
