White legs and shorts

Any recommendations for decent knee length shorts and natural false tan?
I'm mid 40s and no idea what looks good in summer, I just look and feel uncomfortable. I've never liked my legs, the shape is ok but lots of marks, scars and very pale.

My DD uses Bondi Sands on her legs and it looks great, just a light tan that doesn’t look fake. She has to wear black shorts for athletics and doesn’t like her pale legs at this time of year!

I swear by Coco Brown mousse.

If you can afford it a spray tan at a good beautician will work wonders (they offer light, medium or dark so you shouldn't come out looking like an extra from Towie)
Alternatively I really like the Garnier Summer Body or the Dove one, both are really inexpensive and you can get them everywhere!
