Really practical but girly school shoes - do they exist??

DD1 is 6yo and goes to a country village primary where they run a mile every morning in an adjacent field and spend a lot of time outside. For this reason I have always insisted she wear closed top trainer style school shoes - marketed as "for boys" obvs 🙄

We went shoe shopping today and for the first time she said she wanted mary jane style shoes as the boys in her class made comments about her shoes.

I am now wondering - are there any makes that do chunky, practical closed top school shoes for primary ages? That aren't "for boys"?
Any tips gratefully received!

Do they have to be black?

Kickers with a strap?

All the shoes linked that you like are all still "boys" shoes, and while your daughter can wear them, she has asked you for Mary Jane styles
So you could compromise and she has to change her shoes over?
