I need help. Thin and straight up and down, all my life, 5ft 8. Loved utility dresses, basically max mara style straight dresses with low heel look (loads of disposable income, though got this look on the high street).
Then I had a baby. Wow, I don't know what's going on with my metabolism but I probably still have an extra 18lbs on me, 9months on. Boobs are d cup, thighs are rubbing, stomach protrudes and basically nothing I own fits so I'm living in jogging bottoms and t-shirts. Oh and I'm now skint!!
Summer is coming and I am absolutely lost with how I will navigate it and adjust to my new body. I just don't know how to dress for my new shape and I don't like fussy/stretchy clothes that seem to be all that will fit. I don't know where to start finding my look again, and can't afford to buy a whole new wardrobe. Any help greatly greatly appreciated!!

I would suggest a capsule- wide leg casual trousers, gathered skirt, a wrap dress some, some loose camisoles. Embrace your new shape.

I don't know how you feel about places like Primark, New Look, Tu at Sainsbury and Tesco? Not too pricey.

I was hoping someone would suggest a capsule wardrobe! That's the way to go, but I didn't know where to start so thanks for the suggestions!!
I'm happy to shop anywhere! And you're right, I will try my hardest to embrace my new shape, this body gave me my beautiful boy, it's just hard to handle sometimes!

Of course it is - some days will be easier than others, l guarantee you there are days when Kate Moss thinks she looks crap. You have got this.

Don't forget accessories- l love long chains and chunky rings. You might have some old favourites already?

Forgot to say Tesco have done some really nice cami tops, l am hoping they will have them again soon- wash really well and a variety of colours.

First get a bra fitting at Bravissimo or somewhere else good (not M&S), as if you think your boobs are big which it sounds like you do, you won’t be a D cup.

FWIW my stubborn baby weight fell off at 9 months pp, and I didn’t breastfeed. So I wouldn’t go spending loads!
