Wide fit trainers

Can anyone recommend a brand of trainers which has a wider fit?
I've had asics and new balance in the past but both are still a bit too tight across the widest part of my foot.
I already buy men's trainers as they are slightly wider.
Thanks Smile

New Balance do a wide fit - I use them for running - I think it is an E width.

I find Reebok fit my wider feet, I currently have pumas and they're definitely less wide.

Depends what you use them for but Ryka do a wide fit . They’re a bit firmer so good for gym but not running

Brooks do a men’s wide fit which I use. As you know, normal mens are already wider but getting men’s wide is like a women’s extra wide.

Skechers are the widest fit I've found, but you have to choose carefully as some of their fabrics are more fashion designed than function if that makes sense.

I am fat of foot (usually take a wide foot) but usual size Stan Smiths are fine. Worn them in anger twice now and so comfy!

My running trainers are extra wide fit - Brooks womens. I can also wear Nike Air Force 1s and Sketchers extra wide. Its a nightmare finding shoes and trainers but I also recommend shoe stretchers from Amazon as this can make previously unwearable shoes bearable

More ok the pricey side but Ecco are fab! They’re wider fit to start with and lots of styles have a removable insole (with another proper leather insole underneath 😊) that make them wider again.

Hoka's have a wide fit in most of their styles and free del/returns

EventuallyDistracted · 16/04/2021 07:52

Brooks here too for running.

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 16/04/2021 07:52

Second Stan smiths. I have wide feet and they fit perfectly. Usual size.

Fluffandbubbles · 16/04/2021 08:27

New Balance, Brooks, Hoka and On Cloud are the only ladies trainers that do a wide ‘D’ fitting. I think I’ve seen an extra wide somewherevso worth checking those out for that too.

If you have narrow heel but side forefoot and high instep, many Nike styles are good. I've recently bought some React Escape which are nice and roomy in the toe box, as well as looking quite smart.

I have ordered some New Balance wide fit trainers from here:

www.widefitshoes.co.uk

Their service was quick (shame I can't say the same about Royal Mail but they are due to be delivered today Smile)

New Look always have an ok range of wide fit, sometimes they have a few ‘extra wide’ styles as well. I have some shoe stretchers and spray as I was getting fed up with so many brands not doing wide fit

Oatsamazing · 16/04/2021 15:20

Thanks for all the suggestions Smile
I'm not running at the moment, stopped shortly after getting pregnant, but may re-start later this year so they might be a good idea

I like the look of some of the stuff on the wide fit shoes website
