Tarnished or fake?

Hi,

I'm doing a bit of a clear out and found some supposedly Sterling silver jewellery I had I made in Vietnam when I was backpacking many years ago, which is now really tarnished looking. I've tried to clean it using the cleaner in the attached pic but it still looks pretty bad, do you think it's fake or just needs a specific silver polish? I haven't worn silver for at least a decade so I'd just be keeping it along with some fun costume jewellery so my baby daughter can have it one day if she wants, so not fussed on binning it if it's not what it says on the tin.

Thanks!

Plastic tub, put foil in the bottom and lay the silver on top sprinkle on bicarbonate of soda then pour on boiling water. It works really well on silver but you might have to do it a few times.
BUT, if it’s silver plated it will rub the silver plating off.

Just buy some silver cleaner and clean it.
