HELP! I have a new job which i'm super excited about, mostly working at home, but liaising at a far higher level than I've been used to (director, government ministers etc). I love clean simple lines and earthy colours, but somehow at a size 16ish I just feel I end up looking frumpy. I'm 5ft7 so have height to my advantage and work in a sector that is on the whole fairly relaxed in dress - I don't need suits, but do need a good selection of mix and match items that can be dressed down or up. I can't afford premium brands but would rather have a few higher quality items than lots of rubbish, which I feel is a mistake I've made a lot in the past. Any suggestions for brands or items? Thanks

MANGO Violeta range might be good?

Have you looked at Cos? They're pretty minimalist, and usually have some nice simple dresses. At the moment they also seem to have a lot of slightly oversized shirts in cotton or linen which would work well over trousers.

Ooh haven't come across cos and didn't know about the mango range either. Thanks both. Its been so long since I really had a chance/excuse to think about what I wear I'm feeling a bit lost!

Watching with interest. We will be heading back to work soon and I could do with new togs since I lost weight.
