Sainsbury's TU clothing - sizing

I am moving back from abroad and getting some clothes sent to my DM's house for when I get there - I am probably going to have to quarantine for 10 days so won't be able to go shopping for a while. I know my size in a lot of places but not in Sainsbury's TU range and I quite like a few of the bits in there. Can anyone help me what size to order. My size and weight is: 5'6, 8 stone 11, quite top heavy but my frame is narrow. I normally take a 10 in Boden, sometimes an 8 for bottom half. I need an 8 in M&S. Would I be a 10 or 8 in Sainsburys? I actually think they’re on the smaller side. If I compare a Sainsbury’s dress with say a warehouse one there’s about a size difference. I’m a 10-12 normally and a 12-14 in Sainsbury’s.

To add- I’m heavier than you, around 9st 4 and 5’4.

I think they are on the larger side. I am a 10-12 usually 12 bottom in most places but M&S and Sainsburys are quite generous so a 10 fits perfectly from there. So I think an 8 for you from there

If you are top heavy, order a 10 in tops.

I find Tu generous in its sizes.

I'm normally a 12 but I get 10 from Sainsburys. I get a 12 in button up tops though.

Definitely an 8. I'm the same height as you but a atone heavier and I'm a very comfortable 10.

I think Sainsburys are generous. I'm a similar height and size to you, OP (although I'm bottom heavy rather than top heavy!) and I wear an 8 in TU.

Thanks everyone. I think I will order 8s, maybe a 10 for any top that buttons up or I might get the stretch thing round the buttons! If they don't fit I guess I can get a switch after quarantine!
