Looking for some nice comfy trainers for the summer that I can wear with skinny jeans or leggings for long walks with the pram but won’t look like I’m in gym gear if we pop into a restaurant etc for lunch while out.

Usually live in Converse but my feet have changed since pregnancy and I don’t find them as comfy anymore!!

Not too fussy on price if the quality is good!! Give me your go-to comfy summer trainers 😊 Nothing black please 😊

I've just bought some Air and Grace trainers - after much deliberation. They are super comfy with a sole that feels like I'm walking on air. Much better than Veja.

I bought them on eBay where they have an online shop. Think it's just odd sizes/styles, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

I used to love my converse until I bought Adidas Gazelles (suede). They are so comfortable by comparison.

Air and Grace

Superga are a good alternative to converse. They're wider fitting but I find them super comfy. I have two white canvas pairs on the go at once, white leather and black canvas, although I don't like them as much. I've also just got a pair of care of puma which is a puma collaboration with amazon which are comfy and look like they'll go with most things.

I love air and grace, pricey but so worth it, like a previous poster I look on the eBay pages

Vans hands down the slip on style. I currently have black snakeskin. These are the best yet and I get complimented a lot. They are very chic but trainer comfy,

Puffalicious · 15/04/2021 23:46

Of course, Gazelles! I've worn them on and off for 25 years. DS16 got some recently so not sure he'd like me in them! I might sneak a pair this summer.Grin

Thanks for all the suggestions guys 😊 you’ve all cost me a fortune 🤣😅
I actually work in a shoe shop and constantly talk people into buying everything that they like rather than just one pair 🙈 (typical sales woman, sorry 😅) - today I’m following my own advise and have 4 pairs on the way 🤣 woooops!

@Puffalicious @harknesswitch We sell Ecco in my work so I have a few pairs and get a lovely discount 👏🏼👍🏻 I could preach all day about how amazing they are for your feet (genuinely! Not just pushy sales crap 😂 ethically a fantastic company too!)

@Puffalicious Also...please get matching Gazelles to your DS 🤣 don’t mention it, just wear them and see how long it takes him to notice 🤣
I have a pretty young Mum - she was 17 when she had me. At 15/16 I thought she was SO old 😳 and used to be mortified when she wore anything “cool” 😂 we’re now the same shoe size though and she still buys cool stuff 😏 2 shoe wardrobes for me 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

Ha, OP, I think the Gazelles might just be on the agenda. We were both laughing recently at old photos where I'm working out in Greece and in every photo I have a different colour of Gazelles on! Wish I'd kept them all.

I'm not super young like your mum, I'm 49, but can still rock it with the best of them 🤣.

AiryFairy1 · 16/04/2021 10:31
