Daily sunscreen for kids?

Do you apply a daily sunscreen to your kids faces after they get washed? Which one? Looking for something gentle and cruelty free.

I do as one of my DC catches the sun very easily, he started with more freckles appearing suddenly mid March and we live in the north west. Unfortunately he reacts to most sun creams so we just stick with nivea as it’s the only one that doesn’t make him rash. LRP do nice light sunscreens though
