SPF mist?

I’m panicking about my ever increasing wrinkles and trying to be really good about my SPF, but I’ve read it goes under make up. I’ve also read it has to be reapplied every 2 hours. Am I meant to put it on above my make up?

I’ve read an SPF mist is a good way to do this without wrecking your make up. Does anyone have any recommendations or other ideas about how to reapply?

I use LRP spray over makeup but don’t reapply every 2 hours unless outside all the time. If I am outside I tend to wear only mascara and lippy and wear a cream sunscreen as the spray is not as good coverage

Yeah, if you are reapplying every 2 hours you would need to take off your makeup first and then reapply spf and makeup. But the 2 hour thing is really only if you are outside for that whole time. And as I don't want to have to do that, I would rather wear a good hat and keep my face out of the sun - I don't think SPF even lasts 2 hours on me, and I apply as much as I can without having excess on my hands.

The sprays are only really good for top ups, I've never used one but my derm recommends them for that reason.

The Kate Somerville spray is good but has a strong lavender smell.

I’ve just bought the LRP one as a back up/extra to my normal SPF - to put on over make up later in the day etc. It feels so fine when I spray it on though, I worry it’s not providing enough coverage.

Thank you all for responding! I didn’t know where to start so I’ll check out some of your recommendations.

You can’t really re apply sunscreen over makeup. The spf mists don’t offer adequate protection.
I just put sunscreen on once a day. It’s too difficult to re apply so often. My face also can’t take it....too greasy!

I've just bought the Kate Somerville one. A proper aerosol so I'm hoping for good things. I think if you sign up to emails first you'll get a discount code sent through. I also got free samples of my choice with it.

Just to add I always use SPF before make up - the spray is intended for top ups during the day when the sun is strong this summer.
