Primer non-sheen

I'm 62. I am looking for a primer that doesn't give that sheeny 'dewy' look on your skin. At my age it looks too much imv unless it's a special occasion. I don't wear much foundation etc if I can avoid it, a primer and a bit of colour or powder would be great.
I have open pores and some sun damage so need something to hide the imperfections but prefer a mattish finish.
There are so many different ones it can be expensive to buy on chance. Also an spf would be good.
Any ideas please?

Benefit pore professional is pretty matt, it erases wrinkles and pores instantly. Boots quite often have special offers on. No spf but I have that in my face cream that I put on first.

too faced peaches and cream is really good too. For a matt moisturiser rather than primer the origins willowherb is very mattifying

Thanks Bananman - I hadn't heard of that make either!
